Lorenzo is a 2-year-old Labrador/Husky/Saluki mix with soft eyes and a tender heart. At 48 pounds, he’s a medium-sized pup who’s great with other dogs and gentle with children. But more than anything, he needs a patient, loving human to help him feel safe.

Shy and sensitive, Lorenzo trusts dogs far more than people. A calm home with friendly canine companions would be ideal. He walks well on leash and is starting to enjoy it, though sudden noises or strong winds can still spook him.

Lorenzo's past is heartbreaking. Born to a street dog I cared for, he was deeply bonded to his mother. At just 6 months old, his mom and siblings were tragically shot—Lorenzo was the only one to survive. He was later found hiding, wounded and terrified. Though he still carries emotional scars, there's a quiet spark of hope in him—waiting for the right person to help it grow.
