When he was rescued, he was absolutely terrified; he would scream in pain whenever anyone approached him, and his skin would twitch at the slightest touch. It was heartbreaking to see how deeply afraid he was. Living in survival mode is not truly living, so we brought in a professional dog trainer to help him learn to trust people again and become comfortable with touch.
