Summary

  • Rescue Story :

  • FRIDA was posted online as someone had spotted her limping around with a cast on her leg. We went straight to the location. It took us hours of searching before we finally found her.

  • At the vet, we got the hard news: the leg had necrosis. Frida suffered the decomposing of her leg for months and there was no saving it, so the rest needed to be amputated.

  • She went into surgery scared and in pain. She came out of it relieved. Painfree for the first time in who knows how long, and already fighting to figure out this new three-legged life. At the vet, the nurses were surprised to see a cat so happy and cuddly right after amputation. We can’t imagine the pain she might have suffered…

  • Frida struts around like she owns the place, and underneath all that grit, she is the sweetest baby, affectionate, curious, and ready to trust again.
